St. Joseph's Lifecare Foundation
St. Joseph’s Lifecare Foundation continues to play a key role in the redevelopment project as well as the delivery of programs at the Lifecare Centre and Hospice through our fundraising efforts. To this end, St. Joseph’s Lifecare Foundation is actively raising funds to ensure the ongoing success of the new facilities.
Hospice Care is a passion for the Foundation Board. In fact, the Foundation has dedicated itself to not only fully fund the building project, but the operating expenses of the Hospice programs into the future. Due to the fact that there is no government funding for Hospice care in this province, it is up to a community like ours to rally behind this cause and fill the need locally. St. Joseph's Lifecare Foundation has taken up this challenge and through their visionary leadership is making the dream of building a Hospice for the people of Brant a reality.
We are humbled by the continued faith shown to us by the people of Brantford and Brant County by their generous support of our projects. St. Joseph’s of the past earned the love and respect of the community by its long-standing traditions of quality, compassionate care. The new St. Joseph’s is equally dedicated to carrying on the mission of the Sisters of St. Joseph with the highest calibre of programs delivered with dignity and caring. As our slogan says, “We’re in it for Life!”
