Brantford Rotary Club members unveiling Magnolia Drive in St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre

St. Joseph’s Lifecare Foundation is committed to enriching the lives of residents of the Lifecare Centre by supporting key equipment, research and academic needs.

The Foundation has also dedicated itself to raising funds to operate Stedman Community Hospice which is situated adjacent to the Lifecare Centre. With only partial government funding for Hospices in Ontario, it is totally up to communities like ours to take the initiative to operate this vital service. That is why we are so grateful for the support of people like you who have help to make this dream a reality.

We believe that all donors should be acknowledged and thanked for their financial contributions. Each and every donation is appreciated and recognized depending on type and level of gift. All donations, regardless of size, that meet Revenue Canada rules for receipting will receive a charitable tax receipt.

• We recognize all gifts with a letter of thanks and a charitable tax receipt where applicable.
• Memorial Gifts are acknowledged with a letter of thanks from the Foundation. In addition, we inform families of donations made in tribute of their loved one.
• People who have named St. Joseph’s in their Will or with another planned gift are supporters who we recognize in a special way annually.
• With major donations, both corporate and individual, opportunities exist for the naming of buildings, wings or rooms.
• Accumulated gifts of $5000 or more are recognized in our Donor Recognition Library which is situated in the beautiful S.C. Johnson Lobby area of the Lifecare Centre. Books crafted out of wood are engraved with donors’ names and displayed in the lovely bookcases. The library is a comfortable, homey area to relax or gather with friends or family members for a visit.
